Jeans & Dreams – New Date TBD

There is a student at MVL who dreams of singing in a famous concert hall for hundreds of people. Another student at MVL dreams of watching their sacrifice-fly soar into left field to bring home the winning run in a college-level game. There is a student at MVL who dreams of being on the team of research scientists that finds the cure.

You can help cultivate those dreams. All you need is a pair of jeans.

The Booster Club Auction, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 28 at Turner Hall is postponed due to current CDC recommendations concerning events and COVID-19. The Booster Club committee and faculty advisor are diligently working on when, where, and how to proceed.

This year we are continuing the theme of “Jeans & Dreams.” Come in your favorite denim for a delicious dinner, spectacular socializing with the MVL family, and an amazing array of items and NEW experiences for 2020 like the “pick pocket” wall and PLINKO game board! Some favorites from last year, like the “buy it now” table and “mystery box,” will be returning for 2020. Plus, the classic silent auction and the live auction will be led by Mages Auctioneers and National Honor Society students

Booster Club President David Bendix reflected on last year’s event, “We could not be any happier with how the event turned out! Everyone seemed to have had a great time, and it looks like we raised over $25,000.”

In 2020 the committee has an even higher goal in mind. Watch the video below to learn more about what Booster Club funds are used for and how you can contribute.

The Booster Club supports the “extras” of MVL student life by funding non-budgeted items for our co-curricular programs. If you or your business is interested in donating an item or experience to be auctioned off, please contact MVL Booster Club President David Bendix at or 507.236.9898.

A sincere thank you goes out to all of our supporters! Together we will continue to provide the tools needed to nurture the many talents and dreams of the students at MVL!

More than 90 percent of MVL students participate in at least one co-curricular activity throughout the school year. With events like the Booster Club Auction, these students are able to enjoy the “extras” of their high school experience. The Booster Club includes all the parents of MVL students, as well as other interested individuals.
