The mission of Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School reads in part: “training students for Christian lives on earth and for eternity.” We take that directive very seriously. So it is with our capital campaign, Building on the Rock. We want this campaign and building project to reflect our mission and ministry.
The goal of this campaign is to build and complete renovations to our building to improve the quality of education we provide. It is our prayer that these new facilities will be a blessing to teachers, students, and visitors. We also pray these efforts are a visible sign that we desire to provide the highest quality Christian education possible to the students entrusted to our care.
Throughout its history, MVL has been blessed by the generosity of its supporters. We hope and pray that you, too, will support this endeavor.
To God be the glory!

Challenge: The standards have advanced beyond the capacity of our current science lab facilities and equipment.
Opportunity: Newly constructed classrooms designed specifically for modern science and technology instruction.
Challenge: Limited rehearsal and practice schedules due to the current shared competition, practice, and rehearsal spaces.
Opportunity: The conversion of our current gymnasium to a multi-purpose event center. Dedication of the stage to fine arts practice and performance space. Retractable theater seating will improve the comfort and overall guest experience.
Opportunity: A newly constructed field house with full-sized practice courts and increased seating capacity.
Challenge: Insufficient welcome, concession, and restroom space during well-attended events.
Opportunity: A newly constructed event entrance to better welcome guests, provide common space for students and meet requirements for restrooms and concessions.
MVL does not stand alone today. We are built on the families and supporters of the past 40+ years. We are also built for the families and supporters yet to come. Most importantly, our foundation and future is centered on Christ alone.
You are important for our mission of training students for Christian lives. With your financial commitment and prayers, together we can enhance the academic and activity experiences for MVL students.
The costs for this project are estimated at $11.5 million. Please prayerfully consider how best you can impact Christ-centered education at MVL for generations to come.
