The MVL Foundation manages a fund that annually distributes tuition assistance for qualifying families with students attending Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. Each year 50 to 90 students receive financial assistance. Over $860,110.00 during the past 31 years has been provided to families to help cover tuition expenses for Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School

This fund provides a vehicle for donors interested in making a permanent contribution to help with the tuition costs for students at MVL. A contribution to the MVL Foundation is pooled with other donations, invested, and annually 5% of the fund balance is distributed for Tuition Assistance for qualifying MVL families. A donation to the Foundation will endure long past the life of the donor. A contribution to the MVL Foundation will ensure tuition scholarship dollars will be available for students well into the future.

Peter writes about our receiving an “inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade, kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.” (1 Peter 1:4,5). A few years ago, the MVL Foundation was made aware of an extremely generous individual by the name of Herold Gieseke who declared in his will, his farm of 106 acres would be given to the Foundation upon his death. Herold passed away late in 2012 and the Foundation  successfully sold his farm-site and land for over $1,000,000.00. Herold was able to give in his death what he could not do during his lifetime here on earth. What a tremendous blessing for the MVL Foundation.

The greatest inheritance that you can leave to your children, grandchildren, and to the world is a Christian system of education that assists families in training students for Christian lives and for eternity. Herold believed in this as he was able to assist the MVL Foundation in providing tuition assistance to MVL families as they provide for their children an education for eternity.
