MVL is blessed to have a great number of people in our family, all with a heart for Christian education. The Spirit of MVL events are designed to bring this family together in thanksgiving.

Date: Saturday, November 17, 2018

Place: New Ulm Conference Center (part of the Best Western Plus)

Time: complimentary Recognition Reception at 4:00 P.M. / ticketed Gala at 5:30 P.M.

Recognition Reception

In honor of MVL’s 40th school year, all previous recipients of the Spirit of MVL award will be recognized and remembered for their faithful service to MVL and to their Lord.

Attendees will be able to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and the opportunity to mingle with previous recipients. Additionally, Prof. Keith Wessel (’83)  will share a brief message.

The Recognition Reception is a complimentary event, and no pre-registration is necessary.

Fundraising Gala

The sixth annual Spirit of MVL Gala promises to be another enjoyable event! The night includes dinner and a live auction, with high-quality handmade items, special experiences, and much more.

Yet the main focus of the evening is raising funds for upgraded technology and for the MVL Partnership Fund.

Tickets are $50 per guest, or $300 for a table of eight. The first 40 alumni to buy a ticket can do so for $40 (one discounted  ticket per alum).

Contact Kristin Matzke at 507.233.8662 or to reserve your ticket. Also note your choice for dinner: rosemary prime rib, roasted pork loin, or desert fire pasta (sauteed shrimp, mushrooms, pasta tossed in a peppercream sauce).

Alternatively, you can register online:
